We used them in a series (Hankook sponsored) with our Formula 1600 race car a few years ago and they were a pretty good tire; stood up to a lot of punishment.

First would be to get the facts straight . They're Korean manufactured tires. I run Hankooks as drive tires on my tow vehicle and have had no problems. Couldn't say the same for GY. They are, as of 2006, the 7th largest global tire manufacturer.

Had them on my motorhome, not one problem. Hankook tires where made for large commercial trucks and then they started making them for non-commercial vehicles. Good tire for the price.

I run that brand on my mustang... they have held up to a lot of abuse on the street and drag strip. I would buy them again.

Just to get the facts straight! I double checked my brothers tires (I made the original post) & these Korean tires were made in china just like most everything else!!!!

I guess there are some good Chinese (or Korean) tires out there by the response from owners. Seems like the Chinese get a lot of bad rap on their tires. Thats one reason why I went with the expensive Michelin tires for my 5th wheel. Heard a LOT of good reports about them and wanted to at least feel better after damaging blowout recently.

I am on the third set of HanKooks on my 1997 Dakota. I have never had a flat for any reason. I have pushed them beyond specs a little and delayed replacing them until the first rain in the fall. I have no complaints.

I like the HanKooks on my Dakota better than the Marathons that *WERE* on my TT.

F150s to busses, they are good tires. I just put 4 RF10s on my F250. E rated , nice tred, nice ride. No miles with the camper yet.

To clear up any misgivings about where Hankook manufacture tires, check this; it lists their production facilities which do indeed include China.
