Taking a last minute but long trip to Yellowstone and St. Anthony dunes next week by myself and trying to get everything planned out. Here is the general thread on this but I am usually in the TH section so want some input here too. Going to Yellowstone alone as of now
Anyone going Aug 12th - 26th either place ??? Would be great to meet up with someone, especially at St. Anthony, as going alone. Any help with recommended RV parks, places to stop between AZ and YS, etc. appreciated for either location ... short notice trip with last minute planning and alone so a little nervous on this one but excited to get the chance to go.

We will be at Yellowstone from 8/12 - 8/19 at Fishing Bridge. I wish we were going to ST Anthony's. Kinda tough to live in the RV with 4 quads. If your in the area look for the rig in the sig. We will be flying the Stars and Stripes and the Oregon State flag. Stop by and say Hi

One thought for you to think about. We go to St Anthony two or three times a year. On one of those trips we usually spend time in Yellowstone too. We love it there. If we go to Yellowstone on the same trip as St Anthony, we just drive up into the park for the day and spend all day there. It's 1.5 hr drive from St Anthony into West Yellowstone. Easy to get up and back even if you went into the park for a couple of days. This way you can do both and not have the problem of the above metioned issue of having to deal with the quads in the trailer inside Yellowstone.
Now, if you wanted to spend more than one or two days in Yellowstone, then this wouldn't be the best idea probably. But there are camp areas close to the park where you can unload your ATVs adn leave them during the day and not have them in our way while living in the trailer.
Good luck!
