Hey, I haven't heard or seen anything from He Ruide for a while. Anyone know where he is?

My guess - like many of us - he's practicing what he preaches - camping!

Hi 'tiredTeacher....I see 'we' still make the rounds....

I've been seeing HeRuide in the PopUp Portal and PopUpExplorer forums as well as 'tiredTeacher!

Like many of us, we might just pop in, read the threads (which generally someone else has already answered to our satisfaction), then pop off to another site and maybe insert our 2 cents!

Have a Great Day! (Hint - I'm off today for camping trip)

Tyler, Yes I'm alive although I can't say well. I've been fighting Lymphoma and am currently at the MD Anderson Cancer Clinic in Houston undergoing chemotherapy and stem cell transplants. I've been probed, poked, tested, stuck, cut... in fact I'm curently coming out of sedation right now so forgive any typos in this message.

I have not been able to do any camping, so as an alternative I've been reading and participating in several folding trailer fora and writing my blog (I'll post one on my medical opportunities so you and others if interested can read more details). Someone said that places like RV.NET are the next best thing to camping... and that is very true except when I'm trying to convince someone that:
  1. The BAL Leveler is a good alternative to boards
  2. You should apply grease to your coupler ball, and
  3. You should jack up a PUP by the frame and not the axle
I really want to thank you and others for checking up on me. I don't think you will ever understand how wonderful and meaningful it was to see your message and the responses yesterday. I'm truly blessed and I've come to appreciate that relationships (family, work associates and my friends here) are way more important than material things... included my PUP and TV.

Thanks again and I'll let you know when I've written a post on my fight with cancer.

In the mean time please drink a cold one and think of me while you guys are on your camping trips.

Take care and happy camping.

Ruide
