To start with, don't spend the time in Cleveland. Head East about 45 minutes to Lake and Geauga counties. Lots of wineries, great scenery, and great State Parks. http://www.dnr.state.oh.us/ should give you some ideas how to spend your time around Cleveland.

Indians game, West Side Market, Sokolowski's Restaurant, Lakeview Cemetary, lots of great historical neighborhoods to drive thru. The cemetary is one of the most amazing cemetarys I have ever seen. Lots of famous people there eg John Rockefeller, Elliot Ness, James Garfield; lots of huge headstones/staues. Cleveland was the center of the universe economically during the Gilded Age. Henry Flagler, Rockefeller had homes there.

Ralphies House from A Christmas Story is open for tours, too.

The Cleveland Zoo is a nice zoo, especially the Rain Forest. And, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is a must see. Right next to the Rock is the science museum.

Wow... My wife loves cemetaries... We will totally have to go there. In STL our zoo is awsome and free, so any other zoo is definately a letdown. We are hitting a Cleveland game and the R'n'R Hall of Fame as well. Thanks guys....this will definately fill the rest of our time there.

I visited relatives there as a teen in the 90's.... OK, the 60's... . One thing that stands out is the river park. IIRC, it's a long winding park in the valley of the Cuyahoga (? name?, sp?) River. Quite scenic & relaxing. Dunno how it is today, tho', or even if my memory is correct.

Is that the Flats you're talking about or the Cuyahoga Valley National Park up stream?
