Really, I have been running different gen's over the years, gas and diesel, and haven't run across any zombie's yet...

I know many people will fall asleep with their generator on, but just my opinion I would never do it. We all have seen the posts where individuals have been found dead in their RV and the CO alarm failed to activate. I would rather live with the heat.

Thunderstruckhd. Why do you have to attack my opinion. I have never insulted anyone on this post. How about the post where a couple was found dead in their bed with their dog dead in his bed in a Walmart parking lot once the lock smith gained entry. I don't care if you or anyone else feels it safe to go to sleep with their generator on, all I stated was that I wouldn't. It's my opinion, responding to my post the way you did is just plain bashing. I better leave it at that, because I don't come to forum to get worked up.

We've run our diesel genset for as long as two days several times. Worked great. No heat problems--inside or with the generator:-)

Opinion ??? your opinion is not based in fact or statistics, it's based on unsubstaniated fear.
Baring faulty and I mean FAULTY equiptment (GEN) People, me included don't fall asleep, we GO to sleep with our generators ON. This is how they were intended to be used. To be paranoid and say you would rather be hot then run the genset is absolutly rediculas. If it were common to have people harmed by running their gen's the law suits would probably make it that generators would never be installed in RV's again. Cars crash, do we stop driving ??? how about Lightning ??? I'll bet more people get killed by lightning (some of the highest odds on the planet against getting hit) then generators. Stop being afraid of getting hurt and start enjoying life. Taking REASONABLE precautions is smart but not using a perfectly safe piece of equiptment the way it was intended is rediculas. I was not attacking you personaly, just rebutting an "opinion" or statment that any resonable person would not find remotely acurate. But then again, your afraid of a generator...
