Hi all,
We have the RT 190 Popular Chevy and upgraded the radio to a Panasonic with AUX input for our I pod and TV hookup. The radio also has a Sirius satellite radio system which we really love. The improved sound and being able to keep the stations we are listening to where ever we travel is very nice.
A good radio shop can help you out.
Best regards,
Ron and Pat

Well, after reading this post, I got to thinking about the radio in my Sprinter and had to agree about the dismal sound quality. The light then went on as to what to do with the Alpine stereo that I just removed from a lease vehicle that I turned in about a month ago. It's now in my Sprinter and it's a big improvement over the Becker Sound 30 that it replaced. The only problem I have now is that I'm wanting to take it to the next level and I'm trying to figure out how best to install a subwoofer that doesn't require a lot of space. Before anyone asks, I installed the Alpine in my leased Durango as a replacement for the abysmal Dodge radio in that. It has satellite radio and iPod connections. Thanks for planting the seed, guys!

I'd like to see a built in GPS system and screen. I hate playing around with the toy portable systems.

There are lots of options available there, but most are pretty pricey and their mapping software upgrades are far more costly than those from Garmin or Magellan. The other consideration is that if the head unit fails, you loose not only your GPS but your sound system as well.
