I made an offer this weekend for one a Road Warrior RWS 3400 and the bank came back with 95K, just not sure if it is worth the chance at that price. Was hoping for a little lower price than that since there is no warranty at all and who knows what the resale will be on them in 5 years. I believe it is around 45% off MSRP.

What do you think about it?

You are definitely taking some chances when buying w/o a warranty, but what you have to ask is, what are the chances of incurring X amount of warranty covered issues compared to the price you pay for that Jayco... Are you going to pay $30k in repairs with out the warranty... prolly not, so it may be worth it.

Won't the Motor and Tranny and all parts like that be cover under GM or who ever they used?
I know all the WW stuff will not be covered but the high dollar stuff should still be covered.

The vehicle and rv components would have their manufacture's coverage...... and you can get extended coverage by good sam. I believe the risk is the manufacturer's defects that you would possibly have to absorb yourself. Things like pinched fuel line, grounded wire, wrong fasteners, staple in the water line, mis-installed weather strip etc. could be all yours. But as sandman says, $30k would buy a boat load of repairs.

It appears to still be going on, I spoke with them today and it sounds like the are still selling units, just make an offer.
