Just wondered if anyone has had a camper through the airport. I know some of those overhead signs are low, but I would think that they are at least 14'. I will be in the camper and need to drop off a passenger in the front so hopefully no problems. Camper is about 11'9".
Thanks Jeff

I know for sure the departure level is OK. I'm pretty sure that the arrivals level is OK too. The buses for long term parking do go through on the same ramps and they are pretty tall.

If I lead you totally astray and my memory failed me... stop in the round about in front of the long term parking lot, and your passenger can catch the shuttle bus from there for free.

Just don't try short term parking

There is two sky bridges on the departure level. I used Google Earths street view to try and find the height restriction but could only find one for the lower level baggage..12 ft. It would be a tight squeak. If you have the newer version of Google and a broadband connection you can look at it yourself. Pretty cool stuff. By the looks of it, you may want to avoid it and shuttle the person in.

The sky bridges are WAY up there, not even close.

My wife flew out to Portland from Alabama to meet us (my son and I had drive out)two years ago. We picked her in our camper as she exited the concourse, so you should be good to go!

Thanks for all the responses, I thought about calling the airport but I figure it would be such a nightmare to get an answer. Sounds like we will be fine.
Thanks Jeff

Yes, no worries Jeff - just don't try to go into the parking garage, lol!

I fly in and out of PDX every couple of weeks. Stick to the departure (upper)level and you'll be fine. Bother in law picked me up one in his fifth wheel and had no issues.
IIRC the signs direct overheight vehicles that way. There is construction on the road going in so watch the signs for departure level and be prepared for some quick mergers and general confusion on the exit.

The parking garage is out, Long Term can handle bobtail semi's when not crowded although due to construction in the Long Term lot you're better off with Economy which requires a shuttle ride.
