Well, after much thought, lots of great times in the HTT, Im ready to sell.
I knew I would only have it for a year or two, but I have a very interested buyer, and am firm on price (which the buyer doesn't seem to have a problem with).
After selling, will scout out the market for a nice 25-27 foot motorhome.
The motorhome (for me), is easier set up, and basically for a one-person set up it's much faster and we can get to the camping.
We (my son, my dog and I) intend to do some long distance travelling, and with the motorhome I think it will be easier on the road.
I will continue to camp till the end of this season anyway, and hopefully this buyer will come through and I won't need to store her this winter.
Have at least 2 more camping weekends planned.
Thanks to all of you for your support, still working on the hot water heater issues...

Sounds like a happy solution to me! We just traded our motorhome for a new fifth-wheel. Last Friday got into a really bad storm on the interstate. Finally made it to a rest area, had to wait for rain to let up to get to fiver.
Guess who missed the motorhome at that point? IMO motorhome better for lots of traveling, trailer (or fiver) better for less traveling and longer stays. Good luck and happy, safe travels.

Okay, sad but happy
I guess it's a progression. It's days like the rain falling and you need to set up camp or tear down camp that I won't miss.
My best friend has a nice motorhome, and she just gets in, and drives away.
Im left to hook up etc...
So sad to see the HTT go, but happy that we will have a motorhome come spring.
Thanks for your replies everyone

Aw, the good news is though that you have friends with HTTs, and probably Pups and maybe even tents that would love to have you spend a night or two with them sometimes. You can not beat campers for hospitality~~ no matter the number of wheels or axels, how poor-how rich, how different in the 3 G's , and son on,, campers are a special breed. You ever crave a night in a HTT, we'd put you up and we don't even know you. But you're gonna love your new home, it shows in the glow of your writing! Good luck!!

Congrats. As long as your in the outdoors it doesn't mater what your sleeping in. I know even our move from PUP to HTT was sad at first but once the jump came I was ready to go. I think I felt bad over all the memories we had in the PUP, I felt like I was trading them in, funny thing is those memories stay with you and now we get to make new ones. Bigger and better Enjoy your last trips and best of luck with your search. It is exciting to travel and I am sure you will enjoy every mile you add on. If you ever find your way to Southern Ontario I may be there. Although I am looking at Alberta next season to visit my son.
The outdoors is a wonderful place to be....

It's only sad if you have no options, or attainable goals. Sounds like you have both, move on and don't look back other than to the pleasant memories you have created. Good luck on the adventure of finding that next unit that will fit your present needs. Life is an adventure, enjoy it to it's fullest.

Thanks everyone for your kind replies.
You are right, it's a good decision and we have lots of happy memories in the HTT (and formerly the Pop-Up).
New ones to come!
