I don't have a guide. However, when traveling I simply turn the tele and the sat receiver on, go to set-up, plug the local zip in and it immediately gives me both az and el. Has worked for me every time. I hope this helps. Good luck!!

The Data storm users program is the one I use, It is a stand alone program and doesn't need to be connected to the internet.
Satellite locator programs, take your pick,

Why does anyone need this when it's right there in the DTV receiver itself?

I use the receivers dish set-up function in conjunction with the latitude and longitude information in my Wal-Mart Atlas. (I usually know where I am, but not always )Haven't seen a need to obtain or use Zip Codes. Always right on (90%+) within a couple of minutes.
Good Luck in your search.

I have a stand alone map program (Streets) and simply go to my present location and one click gives me the local zip code and away we go, sometimes it can be a chore to ask about the local zip code.

What I do is before we leave I go onto the computer web site www.dishpointer.com and look up all the addresses of the cg that we will be staying at. Besides the aiming directions the site gives you a satellite picture of the campground and a line shows which direction that the dish needs to be pointed. You can look up any satellite including the 3 and 5 LNB dish. Neat site.
