Download Satfinder, its free, and it has worked well for me.

Down load the installation instructions for The Dish 1000.2 and use these numbers to find the 110,119 and 129 for HD signals. The numbers on the receiver will not find the HD 129 bird.

If U have Dish, U can go to their web site and print one of the manuals that have all the zip codes and Az/El or skew. Just look through manuals until U find one with the numbers,download and print U a copy to carry with U.

If you travel to canada you can't put in their zip codes!

Hello:
This is what your looking for as mentioned earlier. Once downloaded and executed you wouldn't need to rely on the internet to get your coordinates for the area your in, this program will give you all the info you'll need. I've included the link to the home site of the program as well as the direct link to the .exe download. It works great for what the original poster was asking.

I agree that sometimes you need more information than the receiver gives you. It tells me where to aim my Slimline but often I need to see where the different satellites are so that I can check with my Align-A-Site to see if I have an unobstructed view of each bird. Many times the 119 DTV satellite tends to hide behind trees because of its lower elevation.
These on-line programs offer this. I, like the original poster, would like to be able to download these tables for times when I have no internet.
