Here we are In August already! The price of gas has been coming down! It should stay down( but not as low as last winter) until after the elections & the usual climb up after the first of year. Anyway, my thoughts are about heading out in late OCT. for the southwest. No reservations but it could be a close repeat of last winter. Don't look for me in Texas or Forida. Nothing wrong with either, just not me.

Please!! No WINTER thoughts yet. It will be here soon enough and I really don't want to think about freezing rain and snow for a few more months. The southwest is fun and I hope you have a great trip. Wish I were going that way myself. Good luck!!

I'll be heading to the southwest around the middle of December, so go easy on the gas Dave, don't want to hear of any shortages in your wake.

Aw Dave, come on down to Texas...we've got lots of room...enough to give you room to do your own thing.

What you save on shuting your house down pays for the gas and some parking.

Diesel prices are lower too and we are starting to think of boogie-ing on down to QZ by the end of Sept. We have been home in N. CA for 8 mon. now and getting anxious to hit the desert and do some quad riding. Had a little taste of it again in July in Lassen Park but only served to wet our whistle a little bit and now we can't wait to do more riding. Also, anxious to see all our winter friends once again.
