Anyone have experience with Timbrens and/or Air Bags for pulling a fifth wheel?. Pros and cons of each as compared to each other??

I put the Timbrens on 8 years ago and have never had a problem. Several like them and several like the Air Bags so take your pick.

Timbrens. Easier installation. Less expensive. Nothing to leak. Nothing to adjust. Don't affect unloaded ride at all. Install & forget...

Depends...I've had both.
Air-bags work well, have to keep an eye on the pressure...if your truck is put on a lift it can screw them up.
Timbrens are simpler, but in my application, the stock springs have settled just enough that the Timbrens, even with no spacer, contacts my axle on any kind of bumps, and quite a bit more harsh than stock.
I'm getting rid of my Timbrens when money allows to buy "Supersprings".

If unloaded ride is very important I would get the air bags. My F250 Can get a little bouncy with the Timbrens and an empty bed. I rarely use my truck to haul air so the Timbrens work well for me.

I like the air bags---easy to adjust for different loads, and I can get exact height for TV.

I can't say I've tried the Timbrens but, I like my air-bags.

There are a whole lotta big rigs out there that are running air-bags so, that must say something about them.

I can adjust my air bags while underway. I can fine tune the ride and elimanate the concrete bounce.
