We have a 2006 Jayco Class C. Toilet doesn't flush to my satisfaction. What are recommendations for upgrading? Will any type fit? Pros and cons appreciated. Ashley

The Sealand Traveler is a very popular toilet and works reasonably well. You may want to consider that model.
I just replaced our Traveler with a Thetford Aria Deluxe II and I think it is a world above the Traveler. It is electric and works like the one at home. However, others had had problems with flooding, possibly due to water leaking into the electronics in the back of the toilet. The Deluxe II has some modifications to prevent that problem and we haven't had any problems with ours. JMHO

The best upgrade I can think of is more fiber in your diet. That will make the toilet flush much better!!!!!

HERE
Thetford Aqua magic toilet Models with Water Saver include a powerful, convenient manual rinse for easy cleaning. The manual rinse hose can be added to your toilet as well.

Can you describe what you don't like about your present toilet? Ours works just fine; push the lever with your foot, the slide gate opens and whatever is in the bowl works its way down through the hole.
Sometimes you have to hold down the lever for a few seconds for everything to flush.

Water doesn't flow over the entire inside of the bowl and the "pressure" of the flow isn't adequate. Doesn't always help to just allow more water to flow. Ashley

Keep a squirt bottle next to the pot for 'sticky' situations. Put on stream not spray -- cheaper than a new commode. Also make sure there is adequate water in bowl prior to using it.(for more of a rush on out flow)

An old timer taught me this trick, take two pieces of TP each three squares long and place them right in the center of the toilet forming a X. Then use the toilet, everything goes right down without a clean-up.

On one of the RV shows they suggested using one of those Super Soaker squirt guns. Very effective I bet. I find the sprayer wand works fairly well but would like to have it on a seperate valve some how.
