Had a portable RV scale company stop by my place to weigh ours.
Front left 3,000 lbs. Front right 2,850 lbs total 5,850 lbs
Rear left 7,025, Rear right 6,900 lbs. Total 13,925. Thats 425 lbs over weight on rear axle. MH was loaded with full fuel, water, camping supplies and etc. Water is 100 gallons. Don not need that much when traveling. Have cut water down to 20 gallon. Which drops rear weight by 600 lbs. MH is in signature below.

Are you just saying if you run out of water and run the pump dry it will be damaged?

I can't say with experience but that is what the owner's manual on the water pump says. According to my manual, the water cools the pump as it flows through the pumping chamber. In my opinion, the pump will spin too fast because it was designed for resistance caused by the water.

I know that it doesn't happen instantly because the few times that I have run low on water, the pump didn't burn out. However, I shut off the pump as soon as I heard the higher pitched growling.

Steer Axle= 14,200

Tow Vehicle w/ Golf Cart & 105 Aux Fuel Tank= 10,700
Gross Combined Weight= 49,600
Fully loaded for 2 week trip.

Still have room for about 30000 more lbs of junk, one huge advantage of a truck conversion!
