Paraphrased:

"Everyone offers you a truck with a great towing capacity, a powerful V-8, classic truck toughness...However our truck line wins the gas mileage battle in every class"

Thoughts?

What's so neat about it ? The other Chevy TV ad showing a gas station site with gas pricesover the last 75 years is neat IMHO.

Do you want towing capability or good mileage?

Well if they say it in an ADD it MUST be factual eh? Kind of had to find ANY advertisements that say their competitors are best.

I haven't seen the add, but I think their claim is valid. I have always had Ford's and liked them. I now have my 1st Chevy and the fuel economy really surprises me.

22mpg highway
18mpg daily driver
16mpg with pop-up truck camper or towing 3klb boat
14mpg with truck camper & towing boat

It tows and hauls better than my old 98 Ford, with less fuel. I know the new ('04+) F150's are great trucks too.

You are comparing a 98 Ford to a 08 Chevy? I guess it would be a little better, let me guess, it looks better too.

You're livin' in the past dude. Dodge's Cummins got beat by GMs Duramax in a towing power and torque comparison. The Dodge/Cummins showed up with a 4.10 against the Chevy/Duramax with a 3.73 and IT STILL LOST! Sorry but Dodge doesn't own it anymore.

Don't believe me. Read for yourself.
