Jefe> Unfortunately I have heard the same thing from others. I thought my high school buddy thats dad bought one and we rode around in would be Psyched that i had bought one. He said man why you buying that old******my dad had nothing but problems with his,Why not buy you a Jeep.

I was like, Dam boy.........why you want to stomp on my dreams like that?

I still plan to go to his dads house and cut doughnuts in the yard to wake him up and hope he dont fire that old shotgun he always answers the door with . His dad is an old salty dog and I want to bring my son to hear his old diving tales and see the old magazines where they sold scuba equip out of Auto parts stores.

Man, you dont think the engine can be made to be dependable. I drive like an old woman, when i aint cutting doughnuts that is, that truck prob wont see 60 mph. man i wish you wouldnt tell me that bad story, you skeering me

Truth be known, we had an electrical prob right off the bat and had to jumper the glow plugs to crank it fore we tore it down

well its wolling

Man it runs GREAT it has lots of power way more than I expected, but the guy had the fuel injector turned up and added the turbo. Its funny on the inside it seems like everything is so small like the light switch and the lighter

BUT WHAT I LOVE THE MOST. i had to take this shot a couple of times but look at the lit blinker light signal... JUST one no indicator on which way your blinker is just a light saying one of them is on. Hey if you dont know which one you turned on then you are too drunk to drive anyway

I had an 82 Isuzu P'up with the 2.4l diesel. I got 35 MPG empty and 30 loaded. Didn't matter if I had 500# in the bed or 3 guys in the cab, 1500# of cargo (including a shell and carpet kit), and a 4000# trailer. Also, terrain didn't seem to make a difference in the mileage.

52 HP but tons of torque. Climbing hills was always 2'nd or 3'rd gear, screaming it's guts out. I would turn off the AC when accelerating from a stop because I could feel the difference in acceleration.

100k miles in 4 years and never did anything but change the glow plugs, oil, and filters. Had that truck been a 4x4 I would have kept it much longer. I think that was the best built vehicle I've ever owned.
