parking in the truck lot is risky enough without taking up two/three spaces and really ticking them off.
if you're parked up in the rv parking area, you'll make someone mad, but not mad enough to sideswipe you.

Bea PA gave you the best advice.I overnight the same way and have never had a problem.Just be sure you have a safe area that your bedroom slide will extend over.

but if he can do that, his question and post wouldn't have been necessary. obviously at the right WalMarts you can do that, but in a truck stop lot??

What most of you don't realize is that the designer that L&M has when the bedroom slide comes in the one end of the bed rises to fit inside when the slide is in (45 degree angle as she described)...to be able to sleep the bedroom slide has to be out...and lets not all turn this into parking at a rest area/travel plaze/Walmart vs. campground discussion...

All she dis was ask a simple question and most, if not all of you, attack her for parking in a Flying J? Unbelievable...

I would think twice before buying a unit with a bedroom slider. It seems like it would cause a problem if you do stay at a rest area or parking lots. Remember they are just a rest area not a camp ground. You may get away with it at a Camping World.

Head to a campground if you need it out, sleep easy.

she was attacked for wanting to take up 3 spaces in a truck parking area. which she needs due to poor planning on her part in selecting RVs.
