Hi Karen
I have SF 10 but as usual going to be at Disney so will have to cancel the site. Have not cancelled as yet let me know how I can so someone else can us it.
Captain Ray

Ray, sorry you and Elaine, that farm girl from Maine, won't be able to make it. Maybe next year! Please do not cancel the site as it is right in the middle of our field. If we can get someone to take your spot, they can just go in under your name and pay you directly. That is what they told Steve & I last year when we booked the two remaining sites so we would have the whole field. If you cancel a site, then it goes to the next person on the waiting list - and it's usually outside our group. They don't care who the people are as long as it's under the name already booked. If, as we get closer, no one is interested in the site, than you can cancel and get your money back.

If anyone is interested in going, we have a couple of open sites at the moment. Please PM me and/or Captain Ray if you are interested in attending.

Karen, maybe we need some pictures of the past to get people in the mood. I'll see what I have here.

Steve, I added pictures from previous years to the bottom of the first post.

I'm still waiting for my gas voucher from LAST year!

We figured you had enough gas for 3 years to come! LOL!

Jay, what site did you book? SF10? Let me know.

Hi

Karen

Our reservation form say's SF09, but I believe we called a couple of days later and we were changed to the first site on the left as you pull into the SF. I will be calling tomorrow to confirm this.

Steve

So if this is true I won't be on top of you! LOL

Is anyone heading up earlier than Friday? I'm hoping to take Friday as a PD, just gotta convince the wife to let the kids take Friday off from school.

Jay

They call that the "overflow" site...a drainage ditch, I think...

Hutch/WW/me & Nancy will be getting there midday Friday, we're staying for most of the week after the rally, not sure about Walter!

I think I'm back in Copakey, NY...rain, thunder lightning...at least the awning's not out...

Ok, I have all sites accounted for except for site SF02... Is there someone who booked that I'm forgetting? Capecodders, how about you guys? Are you attending again this year and if so, what site are you on? If I don't hear from someone soon, I'll call DB to find out who has the site booked. But I believe we currently have all the sites in the safari field booked with our names on it.

Still two sites available if anyone is interested in joining this crazy bunch of ralliers for the long weekend.

Just had a 400 lb. black bear lumber across the road in front of me while returning to the campground after dinner in the Jeep, then four large deer in the next mile...holy crap!

Karen, I have to check with Hutch but I plan on frying potatoes Friday night, and I'm guessing he's planning on supplying/cooking the hamburgers and hot dogs for the Friday night cookout as well...I'll confirm and let you know for sure.

For the potluck, I'll deep fry another turkey in honor of Captain Ray, who has abandoned us once again for grandkids and DisneyWorld...sons a @#&*%s...innocent farm girl from Maine...I don't think so...and they are both retired to boot...
