While I feel no lost love with the La Mesa closings, I'am really worried about various banks pulling out of RV financing. Dealers will be gone in short order if no financing is available, just look at the Real Estate market.

They closed their doors here in Salt Lake a few years ago.

Quote- Saw a commercial yesterday that La Mesa RV is going out of business here in CA (closing Davis and San Bernardino). Looks like the economic problems is hitting the RV industry as we expected.

If you expect it it will happen, why not expect good instead of bad ? There is no recession if noone tells you there is one.

Just purchased our new Allegro from them in San Berndino, they are actually closing their San bernardino store because Loma Linda Hospital owns the property and wants to build on it they are planning on reopening in Garden Grove in Feburary. We will see if they are telling the truth.

If they follow thier past business plan, they'll probably bring all of thier 'dogs' and old stock, and discount from inflated retail prices with a lot of flashy advertising. Oh, and balloons.

Interesting. I understand Giant RV is building a new location in Northern Orange county also.

Interesting....
Their website didn't mention anything about relocating, they are blaming it on the decreased sales.
