So I find out that Bar Harbor Campground is 4.5 miles from town & the Bar Harbor KOA is 10 miles from town.
Should that matter to me?

We stayed at the KOA last September. We had a great spot looking out over the bay. This was a great campground, clean and very friendly staff. There is a person who deliveries pies every night to the campground, which I thought was pretty cool..Enjoy your stay.

Maybe not. We used the free shuttle a lot and Bar Harbor Campground was the closest to the village green where all the shuttles connect. Only stop in between was Acadia park visitors center.

Bar Harbor Campground does have free wi-fi but only near the rec hall. Lots of free wi-fi in town if you need it too.
