To the person who complained that the shut off made it so the head no longer fit the holder

The hose has two ends, they are identical. try putting the shut off at the other end of the hose... I did.. Works great (But I don't have the fancy head, just the OEM job)

Tried that. It didn't work as I could not get the shutoff tight enough before it bottomed out on the faucet.

I just took ours apart and looked, the washers are both the same size. The hose appears to be the same on both ends but if I were you, I would hook it up and take a shower in the RV before you leave on your trip. Good luck.

Thanks for your info. Yes, I plan on at least trying it out in the yard before leaving, and taking my old one with us.

Oh my Gosh!!! - I thought all this talk was just a bunch of hype. Well guess what - I'm a believer now. That was the one thing about the fifth wheel that I wasn't too crazy about.....The trickle of the shower........ I ordered one and installed it.

I was a little confused about the thick washer and thin washer too. Mine were both thick. But it installed just fine and it actually fits in the existing shower head holder, so I didn't have to switch.

I couldn't believe how much difference it made. I'm 1000% sold on it. Going to just try for a few trips without shutting the water off while I do hair and soap up, and see if it really does waste too much water. If it does, I'd like to see some photos of the shut off valves installed so that I can copy from your great ideas.

Mine has thin washer on end that hooks up to shower valve. Thick one hooks to shower head it self.

This is a link for shutoff valve.

I am going to buy one tomorrow from CW. I will let you all know what washers it comes with.

I called the company and was reassured that both washers can be the same size (how would you know if you got two thick or two thin?) and the instructions were outdated.
Mine has a turn off dial at the base of the handle which decreases the flow significantly. The instructions say it doesn't shut off completely because hot water would rise in the hose and handle and when you turned it back on you would get scalded. "Legal Speak"
After two years of seldom use, the MH shower has become our primary.

I guess I did not read the instructions either. Just put it together and used without any problems. Our is about a year old now. Use it before doing any of the mods suggested. You may find it saves so much water and still gives a great shower that no additional mods are needed.
