I just purchased an oxygenic showerhead, the instructions said there is a thin washer and a thick washer but I received two thick washers, and the instructions say there is different ends to the hose but they definitely look the same to me. My question is: Are the instructions outdated or will there be a problem with the washers. I have assembled it in the house and everything seems to fit right, just want some advice before I install in TT Saturday before we leave on VACATION! Thanks for replys

I just installed one of the Oyxgenic shower head in our trailer before our last trip, I had no problems at all. I guess I didn't read the instructions that well because I don't remember anything about washers. BTW, the shower head is fantastic. DW and I love it!

Is there a shut off to save water while you soap up? I didn't see one. If not, what do you do to conserve the water?

Nope, no shut off, it states this in the instructions. The volume adjustment control will take the water output down but not shut it off.

Hmm, the Oxygenic I bought at camping world (4 months ago) came with a shutoff. But it was stupid, as it was an add on you put on the bottom of the shower handle and then the shower head didn't fit into the holder right.

So I'll be wasting water while soaping up. I don't know if I can afford that. I suppose I could add a plastci shut off at the pipe end.

We bought a shutoff from a plumbing supply house and installed it at the bottom of the hose, where it connects on the wall fitting. Works great and the shower is a 1000% improvement over a standard shower head.

I bought a small ball valve at Home Depot I think I paid less than $5.00. It works great, completely shuts off the flow.

I used the ball valve too, but switched to a shower shut off, it shuts down to a drip which is just enough to keep from that blast of cold or hot when you open it back up.
To the person who complained that the shut off made it so the head no longer fit the holder
The hose has two ends, they are identical. try putting the shut off at the other end of the hose... I did.. Works great (But I don't have the fancy head, just the OEM job)
