Help....when plugged in I have power, using a generator I have power, not plugged in.. no power. checked fuse by battery.. ok, no popped breakers, no fuses appear to be popped. What am I missing??????? More checking when plugged into TT I get power. I know the battery is dead on the TT but don't know why... had it plugged into house current for three days to make sure it was ready to go, should have had a full charge....any ideas

Did you take it out of storage mode? Have you checked the level of water in batteries? Use only distilled water.

With Gen or shore-power you have 12V from your converter. With no 110V connected the only source is the battery. If, as you say, the battery is dead, there will be no power. If it will not take a charge - time for a new battery.
(And you do realize you will have no trailer brakes if you had a break-away situation - the TT battery has to be good for the brakes to work under those circumstances).

Make sure your converter is plugged in. Same thing happened to me. I always keep my motorhome connected to shore power. The batteries went dead. The problem was the converter had come unplugged.

this TT is only 8 months old , has had one trip of 6700 miles, will check water levals and get back with the findings, don't understand "converter unplugged response" check owners manual and it doesn't say anything about that. where does it plug in?

If it works on generator or 110 volts the converter is plugged in because it produces the 12 volts you are using to run lights and things. As for the battery, without a voltmeter or test light you will not know if it is being charged. If it is being charged that eliminates a bad electrical path and you simply have a sick battery. Not at all uncommon no matter what the age of the battery. I have seen them bad in less than a month.

If you are not comfortable with a voltmeter at least buy a 12 volt automotive test light. It is a light bulb in the handle of a sharp poker. Clip across the battery without shoreline power or generator and check the brightness. Then have someone plug in or have them start the generator. If the light gets brighter you at least have a good electrical path and then need to do some battery analysis. Such as replacing it or having it tested locally.

Usually a short pigtail on the converter that plugs into a regular 120 volt receptacle and could get unplugged accidentally.
