Just got the Verizon air card service.
Got the new UM175 that replaced the older UM150. The SAR rating is lower on the UM175 if that matters to you.
The UM175 is smaller than the older unit and still swivels for better directional control of the antenna. It also comes with a "Y" or bifurcated cable that uses two of your USB plugs you can use as an option to relocate the antenna. The twin plug system gives the unit more power to increase the signal level and it does work well.
Very simple to install with the CD that comes with it and the Verizon Access Manager makes it easy to use and manage. You can flip between the air car and WiFi very easily if you want to.
Seeing your almost up to the minute use at anytime with the "Usage" key is also very nice for those worried about the 5 GB limit.
The UM175 does not have the old signal strength lights on it like the UM-150 but so what, you can see the signal level on the Access Manager.
I also picked up a mini mag mount external antenna from Verizon for $20 for use when we take the laptop in the car while traveling.
We also have the RV Shorty mounted on the RV for better reception.

Same as everyone else, $59.95 plus taxes for the 5 GB level. They do have one below and one above for heavy for light users. Some of the others are not limited for downloads but you get what you pay for.
In my research prior to going full time everyone I have talked to is really satisfied with Verizon while some of the others seemed to be lacking.
