Well....Just made a run to Petersville to go snowmobiling. About 125 miles one way. Snowing and had to run in 4 wheel drive all the way. Got 8.3 round trip.....The stock tires suck. Anyone got any good reccomendations for a snow tire for these things?

I think dually's just suck in snow. I have the traction tires but haven't really used them in snow yet, except for a dusting last winter.
I have heard people complain the traction tires make the truck more unstable on the highway, especially in grooved pavement.
Make sure you stay with proper load range, so that in itself probably cuts down your options. Go to tirerack.com and enter criteria to search for options and see what other have to say about their performance.

He has a 4.86 mine is a 3.73
I have a 40 toyhauler w/ thre atvs and he had a 41' with two atvs.
It was a real eye opener.
Right then, I get 20 mpg unloaded at 70+ mph and 12-14 mpg towing ~15k lbs at 60+ mph on my 03 PSD with a bone stock six-oh in hilly Kalifonia.
I guess I should have stressed the difference in fuel mileage the gearing makes!
Not bashing fords, but it was a good trip also!

Yea. they do....I can't find any decent snow tires. I have the stock Continental traction tires that tirerack stocks also. It just spins. In the ruts we have from studs here, the truck wanders all over the roadway. I think i'll just get chains......that otta be real fun!

My wife drove our new dually in the snow the other day and said it was great. I'm sure I will get the chance to test it out in the near future.
