Remember Guys, its NOT a party, Rally, gathering, event, etc.
Just so happens that some of Your "BEST FRIENDS" happened to head out to Spangler Hills on the same weekend. Imagin that!!

Hey Ladies,
I'm not dead.
The trip to Montana was awesome. Lots of driving, but definitely worth it. We made it from L.A. to Pocatello, ID, on the first day (loooong drive) and then the rest of the way to Glacier the next day. We stayed at West Glacier for the first three nights: hiking, white water rafting, and more hiking. Then we moved over to East Glacier to see the other side. We stayed near Babb (sp?), which was eight miles from the border. Too bad we didn't think to bring passports or any kind of ID for the kids.
We took it a little slower coming back down south. Still long driving days.
On my second day back in town I was driving to the train station to take the Metrolink to work. My back got really sore and I figured it was just built up tension from all the driving. It started hurting pretty bad on the train, then my jaw started to get tight and my mouth got all drooly (the telltale precursors to a big barf). I got sick in the can on the train, got sick in the bushes in front of KABC walking to the office, got sick in the office. I couldn't figure out what was wrong. I hadn't had any breakfast yet, so I was starved, but puking every ten minutes. Sweating like crazy, lots of pain in my lower stomach. I thought maybe I was about to burst an appendix/spleen/liver or??? There wasn't anyone in the office yet and I really didn't want to call 911 just because of vomiting and back pain. I knew I had to see a doctor pretty quick, but I didn't want to be stuck down in the city. So I took an $80 cab ride back home to my local urgent care (didn't want to die of old age in the ER waiting room). I only had to make the cab pull over once to hurl on the roadside (and the once more in front of urgent care just to make a grand entrance). I looked like hell, so they took me right away: "Mr. Edmiston, do you always look like this?" No lady, but thanks for asking.
The pain just about stopped as soon as they had me lay down on an exam bed. The doc said that the fact that I was so hungry ruled out a lot of nasty things. It took him about two minutes for him to guess that it was kidney stones. A quick x-ray confirmed his guess.
He filled me up with a rapid flow IV to flush me out as quickly as possible. One good pee and BLOOP went the stone.
Long story, sorry. Anyway, I was slammed at work after being gone for ten days and then missing another day right after that.
Then once I dug myself out of the hold at work, every time I tried to sign back on, the forum was inop.
That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.
Thanks for the uh, concern? Thanks to Derwud and s@ndy for the tag team calls.
So did I miss anything?

One more thing. We made it almost all the way through the trip with no mechanical failures. We stayed at Zion River Resort on the last night. That was the first place we could have a campfire. I used the fuel station to pump out some fuel to start the fire ( ). It was the first time I had used it since WW replaced it last winter. I didn't notice while I was pumping the gas, but all power died in the trailer after using the pump, which seemed strange since we were hooked up to shore power.
I couldn't find any problems with any of the fuses (inline on the pump, in the fuse panel, etc.). I was just about to give up and go to bed with no power (it was really hot and we wanted the A/C on). Then I remembered the fuse in the battery box.
The fuse didn't blow and it fried the wiring before and after the fuse. I spliced it together and went to bed.
The ghosts of WW still haunt me. But WW rants aside, the trailer held up great on this trip. We had a fantastic time.

Sounds like the pump gears swelled and siezed... Same thing happened to me out in Glamis.. full tank of gas and no way to get it out!! I'm running a 40 amp Circuit Breaker now!!!
