Ok, looking for some expert advice and personal experiences. I have never taken my trailer up any tight mountain roads but a change in residence is now going to require it. I have a short bed 06 Dodge Ram 2500 CTD quad cab and a 23' Weekend Warrior Superlite at 96" width. Question is, anyone have some real world experience and advice on navigating up these tight roads with hairpin turns. Shouldn't I be able to negotiate a multi point turn in baby steps to get around a tight hairpin? Any ideas or suggestions?

Well, yea, but not sure how patient the folks behind you will be. If this is this your driveway then there's no problem there.
Just think of it this way. If a tractor trailer can make it, so can you and your 23 footer.

Some roads, You just don't tow anything but a popup on. If there is a sign. Warning you against tow up that road. Don't. Multi point turns, don't go over so well with a TT in tow. You mostly end up jackknifing the whole thing.
There is a road like that here. On one turn. You actually have to stop and back up, WITHOUT a trailer. I will not tow up that road. There is also a sign forbidding trailertrucks from goin up it.
My advise. Drive up the road nontowing. And make your decision, if you want to try it or not.

Where are you going? I specialize in getting trailers into tight places. Sometimes they have to be brought back out in pieces though

WOW, just how tight can they be? I've towed my old 25 footer over California route 1 and it doesn't get a LOT tighter than that. Never had to make any kind of multi-point turn to get around any of those turns and many of them are 15 MPH rated. The trailer should turn nearly as tight as the truck does with no problem but you MAY need to learn to drive the outside of the turn to keep the trailer on the road.

Santa Cruz mountains, and thanks for the offer but I guess I'd just assume break it myself So far as the road, there arent any signs that say you can't and I have seen a few other trailers of various types up in the area. Very little to no traffic in the area so taking my time shouldn't become an issue.

I don't think there are any roads up there that are too extreme. Unless it has trailer or long vehicle warnings you should be fine.
I've towed my 32' trailer through all sorts of twist mountain roads in California and Arizona with no problems at all. That includes some roads that other on RV.net said to stay away from because they were so tight (none restricted however).
