I searched and could find no info on these.

Anyone have any experience with Tow-N-See mirrors.

I have McKesh Mirrors already but with my new vehicle the upper clip is damaging the rubber weather strip on the window. So I am looking for new options.

The Tow N See's look pretty good but i would like to hear some 1st hand experience with them.

Thanks

John there was an earlier thread on these but I don't know how much information you might find from it. I have one of these mirror and I love it.I intend on getting another as soon as possible. I espeacially like the fact that since it sticks to the original mirror you can adjust it by moving the joy stick adjuster for the original mirror. The safety strap concerns me a little. If I were at highway speed and it fell off I am afraid the safety strap would cause the mirror to beat and bang up against the door until I could get stopped. A new mirror could be much less than a repair bill. Thefore I don't use the strap and have had no lost mirror yet.I hope this helps.

I used them on my Explorer I liked them tried to use them when I bought my Dodge the plastic housing got in the way I couldn't stick them on the mirrors so I went to the Mckesh mirrors. Now I have a chevy and tried using the tow & see again but I like the size of the Mckesh better.

Our first time out using ours, the mirror started to turn downwards (suction cup stayed where it was but the mirror went down), I put down the window to tighten it as it popped off the mirror into my hands! DOH! After that I made sure to tighten it down as much as it'll possibly go.

I have a concern about the "safety cord" as well crashing into the van at highway speeds. Just make sure to tighten down the screw as much as it'll go and you'll be fine.

I used a set for awhile and they work well except for the fact if someone bumps into the Tow n See kind of hard it will break the pivot points on your power mirrors and they cost about $350.00 each to replace. Want to know how I know?

I like my Tow N'Sees. Only time they come off is when someone bumps them off. Which happens quite often.

I did have one lens loosen up in one. A little dab from the glue gun fixed it.

Joystick adjustability is a great feature.

I've used them a few times. I don't think that the visibility is great, but it's all that I could find to work with my mirrors ('08 Jeep Wrangler). I definitely like that quick install and removal. Safety cords came in handy twice.

I used them very successfully on my 2004 Navigator for a year before I got the F350. They worked very well. If you clean your mirrors before attaching them, they stayed put. I liked the fact that they adjusted with the power mirror. I tried both the convex and the flat. The flat is useless, get two of the convex. They are available at CW.
