I do most of the cleanup before we leave the campground--dirty laundry(in a hamper), perishable food(in a cooler),whatever suitcases we need to bring in, toys, it all goes into the back of the SUV. I clean all my surfaces while DH fiddles with stuff outside. We close it all up together, dump the tanks, and go home. Once we're unhitched I just unload the back of the SUV--don't have to step inside the TT again until I want to. It's all clean and ready to go the next time.
Now cleaning the outside...erk! that's my job too. When it gets too too bad, we just sell it.

DH has lots of "toys", the RV is my only toy and I take care of it unless it is mechanical. We're building a shelter for it in a few weeks, but in the meantime I wash outside once every week or two as it is parked underneath trees. I sweep leaves off of the roof and make sure the gutters are clean. Also let the awning out to dry after it rains, seems to keep it from mildewing. I do the packing/unpacking and clean inside and out after each trip, replenish linens, supplies etc so we are always ready to roll. With the help of the forum and my Dad, I have learned much about how the systems work and how to maintain everything. Last week, I even recaulked some cracked areas with Dicor. Must have worked as I am sitting here through day number 3 of tropical storm Fay and no leaks!

camping in the Northwest and the DW cleaned the Ref out and stripped the bed. So far I brought in the clothes, washed the TT and awnings.
Shampooed the carpet., cleaned the ref, sinks, bathroom . Cleaned out the three holding tanks etc. Meanwhile she has gone shopping for all the "good sales" that she just has to go to. Oh well, got to go put the awning away and put the TT under the metal cover which is hard to see by myself as all three sides are enclosed and I have to get the left side about three inches from the side of the cover in order for the extra wide door to open on the other side. And to think I have been married to her for 50 years the 9th of Sept !! LOL
That's probably why she's kept you around so long.
Congrats on your upcoming Golden Anniversary.

When we were looking for our MH, I asked the same question about selfcleaning model.
Got a deer in the headlight look from th salesman and my DW
On a serious note, she does the inside and I shlep the stuff into the house. She claims she doesnt want to have to do it again to get it done right.
The outside is all mine.
