I am getting my last radiation treatment today (36 total) after cancer surgery in January and Chemo in April and May. I just wanted to thank all the wonderful folks here who have sent me messages of support and even better, tons of prayers. Next step is pills and close monitoring for a couple of years. All seems well but continued good thoughts and prayers will be gratefully accepted.

Also wanted to let Cookie Lady and the rest of the many here struggling with cancer know that there can be light at the end of the long and sometime very dark tunnel.

To everyone, remember to treasure those around you and the good times because life truly does change in an instant. Do not take your health for granted and DO get those annual checkups!!

Wow. Glad you are doing better.

And your message is one that is never overplayed. Good advice. Thank you.

Congrats, DW did that about 8 years ago. Now for complete understanding of what is and has happened I would suggest that you get "The Complete Breast Book" By Dr Susan Love. It was the bible which we used to determine her treatment options and the ramifications of the options we choose.

One ends, another begins. I'm getting ready to take DH for his first radiation treatment in an attempt to arrest his brain cancer.

Congratulations! I'm already looking forward to that last treatment!

Way to go!!!!!! And your advice can not be stressed enough. Get those check ups. Have even the smallest thing checked out. Rather be safe then sorry AND LOVE the one you love, hug them tight, make every minute count!

God Bless You and I will continue to pray for you and the others here that are fighting this dreadful disease. Cancer %$#@.....err stinks!
