There is no alliterative for the WW, either you have a WW or you wish you had a WW.
Do yourself a favor and go look at all the other "WW want-to-be trailers" and you will see what I am talking about.
There are plenty of new ones still out there all over and many used ones just like your looking for.
I just did the exact same thing you are going through and looked at everything and said screw it and got another WW a month ago.

Is Elvis still alive too? There are several trailers as good or better than WW. They have been having quality and customer service issues for a long time. Look at Cyclones, Fuzions, Raptors, KZs... Do your homework and you'll be happy.

Ya, if I were you I would go out and pay the big bucks for one of the left over WW trailers and hope to god you dont have the same problems all the other owners had. At least they were fortunate enough to have warranty work returned within 60 days, Oh wait, there will be no warranty.

Thats also a big statement. There's alot of WW owners on this site that have had little or no problems at all. No matter what make you buy there is a reasonable expectation you will have some problems of one kind or another. Myself Warrior fit the needs of cargo capacity that I had. If I had to do over again I would without a doubt buy another Warrior trailer or 5er.

So I've found an 08 FSC2800 for 30k. Aluminum sides, but everything else how we like it -- 5.5k gen, 40 gal fuel station, even in the colors we like.

Thoughts?

I got my 2007 FSC3200 brand new over a year ago out the door for less then that and it had fiberglass sides.

My guess for the trailer you described is about $23,500-25,000.
and in todays market the lower # for sure.

I would work down the price as you can get it cheaper in todays market. I saw a 32 footer FSC for 25 and it was a 07.

Washington WW and Rage'N Dealers price their units high and won't deal much from my experience. Do some shopping on RVtraderonline.com, RVtrader.com and RVusa.com to find out the "going price" for this trailer. Also, demand that the dealer here provide you with a MSRP Build Sheet for the unit being negotiated. I found the local dealers resistant to providing this info - as they like to start negotiation at a price 10-15% or more above MSRP to make you feel like you got a good deal....Build sheet will have VIN and factory installed equipment listed.

Is Dealer RV Town?

We ended up buying our 2008 Rage'N out of SOCAL due to the price difference. We saved over 4K after tax title and travel expenses...over "best deal" from local dealer. This was in May as the WW news was started hitting the street.

We bought ours out of SOCAL also and got a better deal. Saved a few thousand dollars.

I have an 06 WW FSC2800 and never had a problem. I suspect that you could find a great used unit and get one heck of a deal right now. I'll sell you mine for 15% above what I paid. If you say no deal - I'll just keep it and leave on my 4,000 mile vacation I have planned for mid Sept.
