I've seen chunks of fender removed from dooleys that have been too close to the traffic lanes.
Most park with their mirrors folded in to keep from having them smacked off too.
Never thought of that! Hmmmmm, with cars parked on both sides of the street, that could be why he did that. I just figured the guy had had too many of those nickel beers at the fair!

PS, yes, they really DO have nickel beers for a few hours at this fair! Makes for a cheap date night, that's for sure!

Looks like perfectly normal dually parking to me, I can't help it if they didn't make the street wide enough for my truck...

Maybe he is one of those British we have so many driving in CA on left side of the road?
...and if you do it's a sure fire way to get a ticket! (I know!)
BTW - you'll have to go a long way in the UK to find a dually truck that's not a commercial 'lorry'

Missed UK in my travels, but this confirms my suspicious. The guy coming to US bought something he couldn't have in UK. Not that it makes sense, but just because.

Looks like a moron who does not know how to park. He figures because he drives a big truck (and does not know how to park) he is entitled to more road space... A common problem with people who drive large pick ups.
More often than not.. the bigger the truck, the smaller the brain.
I drive about 300 kms a day in city traffic so.... if anyone wishes to dispute what I said... be ready to be proven wrong.

Yeah, RVers who tow a fiver have no choice. Their dually is their run-around vehicle. The photo shows the best way of parking one of these,...IMO.

As spoken by a true "Four wheeler" that does not have a CLUE of the challenges of driving and parking a dually much less a "Big Truck" in city traffic. (18 wheeler)
I drive/have driven BOTH! Accident free so far with over 30 years behind the wheel of large vehicles. Put that in your pipe and smoke it!
As far as the "Be ready to be proven wrong" statement.
Be ready for the "Stupid stuff four wheelers have done" stories I have seen/experienced. I could keep you for HOURS with stories of stupid stuff that would have resulted in serious crashes, IF I had not anticipated a "Stupid Stunt" from a "Four wheeler".
I don't think you want to go there.......
