Technically, he's not on the sidewalk. He's on the curb.

More often than not.. the bigger the truck, the smaller the brain.

I drive about 300 kms a day in city traffic so.... if anyone wishes to dispute what I said... be ready to be proven wrong.

You must have a really large truck.

...in Seattle most of our streets are fairly narrow, many side streets not wide enough for two cars to pass when both curbs have parked vehicles. Even many arterials and through streets are narrow. Frequently, even leaving a large pick-up, Suburban, or Tahoe type SUV will get your mirrors clipped, even regular cars are not guaranteed safe. Busses, delivery trucks, trailer mirror setups, vans, even other SUVs cause a lot of problems. My Suburban twice, Tahoe twice, Freightliner once (idiot bus driver, caught the guy), life in the city. Anyone with a dually here, either has it off street, or for sure parked ON the curb. Heck, even cars on busy streets will grab some curb.

That's just the way it is..........

As spoken by a true "Four wheeler" that does not have a CLUE of the challenges of driving and parking a dually much less a "Big Truck" in city traffic. (18 wheeler)

I drive/have driven BOTH! Accident free so far with over 30 years behind the wheel of large vehicles. Put that in your pipe and smoke it!

As far as the "Be ready to be proven wrong" statement.

Be ready for the "Stupid stuff four wheelers have done" stories I have seen/experienced. I could keep you for HOURS with stories of stupid stuff that would have resulted in serious crashes, IF I had not anticipated a "Stupid Stunt" from a "Four wheeler".

I don't think you want to go there.......

No, I did not wish to go there but please. If you insist PM me. (and don't cry after)

Trolling in these forums isn't usually received well.

I had no idea my educated opinion was "trolling".

If that is your only contribution to this subject then maybe it should have been left unsaid. It makes you look foolish (or like a troll).

Let's see your data sampling methods. Let's evaluate your collected data. Let's see your regression analysis. Let's see how high your r-squared and adjusted r-squared is for your calculations. Let's see your F-test and T-test numbers to verify the statistical significance. I'd be interested to see your proof, but I bet you have little more than incoherent anecdotal ramblings.

As I said, you are trolling for responses to your allegations.

I'm probably foolish for giving you this much of a response, as it's obviously what you're fishing for. Your driving 300 kms/day in Alberta might tell us more about Albertan drivers, Canadian drivers, or other descriptive demographic attributes rather than the size of the truck, since I doubt you've gone across your country and mine to make sure you don't have a sampling error.
