We will be getting a new TT the end of this year. Does anyone have any info about birds needing a health certificate from a vet to travel. We wouldn't be crossing any borders. At least at first. Also what would a vet have to do for this health certificate if its needed. We have a Hahns MCCaw his name is Bugsy and he is 3 yo.
Thank you for your help.

We sometimes travel with 2 lovebirds and I've never needed anything. We have crossed borders with them also without incident.

Have never needed anything for our pigeon Rocky. We have gotten a lot of weird looks but nobody has ever asked for a health certificate.

I've traveled with as many as five cockatiels and I've never had a problem.

Have any of you bird owners ever tried to cross in or out of Mexico or Canada with your bird?
