I've always had a hard time finding a place to stop for gas with my gas RV while in LA county. Now that I have a diesel, the challenge to find a station has been kicked up a notch. I don't understand this situation because the City of Industry is pretty much one giant truck terminal. I don't have the same trouble finding stations along the 15, the 8 or the 5 through the Central Valley.
I'm looking for a station that I can pull into with a toad, anywhere between La Mirada and Burbank? Anyone have any suggestions?

Link to all major diesel truck stops along freeways
Click on the brand you prefer and see if one of them is convenient. If not try another. The site tells you the prices at each so you can pick out the lowest priced one as you head out in the morning.
We use an EVDO card, so, we can access any info we want while driving, or, while stopping for a break. The cost is $60 a month, which we recovered by dropping DSL and the landline we no longer needed without DSL since we have cellphones. If you are on the road a lot, you might want to check into getting this service.
I still really like the book phredsee refers to and we refer to it constantly for all sorts of purposes.

If you don't have access to a computer rolling down the road you can also try "The Next Exit" sold at CW or visit www.thenextexit.com.
