Does anyone use this cell phone?

How is the coverage?

What is the cost for long distance calls?

What are the roaming charges?

My DW has problems with the small call phone we now have.

Would it not be best to get the correct answers from Jitterbug? They do have a website.

I did check the website, but I wanted to hear for users of the cell phone. Some times the website will contain things that don't happen in the real world.

From what i understand they are pretty straight forward and use the Verizon Network. Fees are clear and they don't have hidden charges. You won't the the 'cool' cell phones with all the features but that some folks perfer that. If you are a Good Sam member check out their offer...

I work in the cell phone industry. The Jitterbug is a Samsung handset. They also make the "sync" (A707) that has big numbers and a lot more features. The Jitterbug doesn't have bluetooth, so you can't use a wireless headset or speaker. It may not be legal to use in CA while driving because of he new handsfree law.

My advice is to wander over to the mall and play with the phones like all the kids do

We have the Jitterbug and love it. No nonsense phone, doesn't take pictures, doesn't play games, just a phone. We have the very basic plan, $10.00 per month and .35 cents a minute. Haven't used it outside California yet but they show coverage all over the country. It all depends on what your needs are, they have other plans that cost more per month but have "free minutes included". Have you ever noticed that the more a plan cost per month, the more "free" minutes you get? Anyway, back to Jitterbug, if you don't use a phone all the time like us and just carry it for emergencies, it's great. there are alot of plans out there that are a lot cheaper of course. The neat thing is, it has big numbers easy to use, stores about 50 numbers, and has a live operator if you need help, (that costs like a phone call). Anyway we like it and so do a lot of other people. Call them and talk with them, they're very helpful
