let me also add a thing about gas...many stations are now playing the cash/credit game for gasoline---credit OR debit card is ten cents or more per gallon.....absolutely criminal...also southern NJ is down in the $3.15 range for gas....yet is about $3.39 up here in central NJ...even diesel fuel...some places still at $4.59 yet some stations at $4.09 or less....taxes are all the same in the state...so what gives?--my answer--GREED..

if you talk on cell phone without hands free device it costs you $100...

You say GREED. I say free enterprise. If you don't like it then don't pay it. If enough folks do that the price will come down.

I would not recommend comming to NJ, at all.. Fuel and gas are low, but that is about it. I would stay away from the GSP north of Amboys and the turnpike over all. Take 295 instead. N/S 78 or 80 E/W

While parts of Jersey are nice, they are getting few and far between. Areas you do not want to be in with a coach are, Trenton, Camden, New Brunswick, WoodBridge, Union, Newark and surrounding areas. Not really because they are unsafe (some are, but not touching that one), but because they are not RV friendly. At All. Shore points to avoid, Point Pleasent, Belmar and SeaSide. (Unless it is off season..)

Yeah right, how do you not pay for a resource you need? Stop using fuel?

You have to drve to work, you can't drive to south jersey for fuel if you live in north of central jersey.

Truth is, jersey is a commuting state, you have to drive to get to work or anywhere for that matter...

Is "free enterprise" the new word for screwed?

Don't talk on your cell phone in Jersey while driving....New law and my girl who lives there got stopped last week. also, it is illegal to pump your own gas there. Last time she visited me in Missouri, she made me show her how to put gas in a car. She's lived there all her life and had never done it...lol

Just curious, but how is the gas pumping thing done for diesel?

Does someone pump the fuel for the truckers at Flying J?

Diesel you get to pump yourself. Have seen it both way at Flying J in Penns Grove NJ, at RV islands. Seems weird that New Jersey stations have to pay someone to pump yet have less expensive products compared to PA and NY.

Been my experience that on the TP , GSP & ACE the stations pump for you. On the none limited access roads the truck stops let you pump your own.

I haven't seen the law, but I believe to pump gas at a gas station you must be from the Middle East... at least from my observation recently and when I lived there.

How much of the 10% profit margin do you find excessive and how much would it save you to rebate that? They do sell far more than just gas in case you didn't know that.

Regardless to the OP, if you are legal in your home state, you are legal traveling in any other state including Canada.
