I'm looking for some helpful feedback on toyhauler construction and reliability.
What are the top three toy haulers on the market when it comes to value for the money? I'm interested in toyhaulers 30 ft or above. As a start, here's a top three from a local toyhauler salesperson (biased):
1. Keystone- Raptor
2. Holiday Rambler- Next Level
3. Fleetwood- Gearbox
Thanks in advance for your advice. It would be nice to find an objective source for this information.

A lot of people would put Fleetwood products at the low end of the quality scale.

We have a Raptor its considered a "luxury" Toy hauler, But we had a Holiday Rambler travel trailer (next level for toy hauler) Super solid we liked the raptor floor plan at the time now they all have similar floor plans.
We have a few friends that have gear box and being "fleetwood" as one poster said not the higher end the gear box is very solid too after owning ours i would actually put the next level at the top and toss up between Raptor & Gear box, I can tell you the fru fru nice carpet in our raptor is just stupid! Wish i had a reg.toy hauler floor to just sweep & mop but i thought i would toy haul less and reg. camp with full hook ups more its the other way around.

I have no problems with my Gearbox 5er.I had a TT before Thor Wanderer and the GBox is much nicer and seems more solid.Have found out you can get a lemon no matter how much or little you spend.Very hard to get an unbiased opinion, they have all had problems believe me.Kinda like which tow vehicle is best or better lol.

Great feedback! I didn't consider the fact that I'll probably be toy hauling more often than normal camping. I may be better off by buying a solid but conservatively equipped (tile/basic carpet) toy hauler.

I wonder where this list came from? Beaurdy RV maybe? My second guess would be Earnhardts. If you are willing to pay the cash, I would go with the Next Level. If you want value for the money, I would buy used. I purchased my Rampage used and I have been very pleased. The only issue I have had was with the Goodyear Marathon tires. Even though Warrior went out of business, you may want to see what kind of a deal you can find.

If I were you I would look at the following trailers for good to great quality for the money (you have to understand this is relatively speaking of course.... because most RVs are not of a very high quality... just the reality of the industry right now).
Heartland Cyclone (some of the best new creative floorplans)
Keystone Raptors and Fuzions
KZ New Vision
I'm not really familiar with the quality of NextLevel, although I've heard they are nice. I just didn't like their floorplans and color combinations.
As for GearBox... I don't think they are in the same class of traiers as the ones above.

I've seen a bunch of toy haulers going to many different offroad races for years. I've seen many Gearboxes with problems. The upper priced KZ's seem very nice but the cheaper ones are definitely cheap. I thought the Raptors and Cyclone were nice but too heavy. I really love my CrossRoads CrossTerrain and have met many other people who feel the same way.
