I recently spent 4000 plus after bringing my Class C in for an inspection. Turned out that one of the exhaust manifolds had a crack it in and needed to be replaced, of course before I knew it bolts had cracked off in the head as well as a tap they were using to re-thread the holes. Figuring I had no other options I spent $4200 to fix the manifold, remachine the head, and a few other small items. After making the repairs I read in a few places of people installing a banks exhaust system....any info on that? what do you think?

By cracked exhaust manifold I am guessing you have a big block GM motor? That is quite common on the GM motors in motor homes. The under hood heat is the big problem. Tube exhaust headers can increase performance some, at a price. That price is generally more noise and unless you buy really expensive ones, they can burn out rather quickly. My suggestion is to keep it stock, keep it quiet, and spend the money on getting the heat away from the motor. JMHO

Well at this point I am staying stock the work has already been done I was just wondering if I should plan for the future. As a note it is actually a Ford V10 motor.

The complete Banks system is in the area of $3500. including the new tranny controller. Do what you want but you can get about 90 more horsepower out of that engine with the Banks system.

But what do I know

There are Co.s that make Stainless Steel Headers for a V-10,run cooler, better power and milage, will not crack,I think Banks has Stainless, and you can get quiet systems you won't hear.
