I just bought some Rubbermaid plastic containers that fit perfect under my lift up bed. The storage area is just under 4" high and these fit perfect. I can get 6 of them in just one section. I wanted something to keep First Aid supplies in and I found these at Walmart 2-for $3.48. They are called Rubbermaid Takealongs 1 gallon. They show putting food in them. The bar code is 71691 41692 .
This will help with my storage for those little things I like to have and make it easy to orginize and store them until needed.

I never thought of dividing up my storage area under the bed - good idea! Thanks!

I'd LOVE to be able to post pics to this site but I'm older than 12 years old and I have no kids to show me how! I've looked at the instructions and don't have a clue what they are talking about! I post on other sites, I even ebay and they are so simple, I don't know why this site is so difficult.

Crazy. There's an ad for shipping containers on this post. Big steel ones that go on the backs of semi trucks. LOL

I store my GMC trucks crewcab under my bed.
If I made my mattress any higher I wouldn't be able to sit up in bed.... or have wrastling matches. I do store storm windows under there.

I have been doing something similar with my underbed area. These are Sterlite 28Qt containers and six fit perfectly and keep things from sliding around.
