Hi all,

On the NATCO site, Bob Mehrer has a post stating that he is closing his TC business. Very sad.

He made some really nice campers. Sad to hear they'll now be orphans.

Bob mentioned halting camper production until the economy picked up. I am sure I speak for many of us when saying this is really sad news.

That is shocking, especially the “current warranties can not be honored” part.

I don't think there were to many warranty issues with his campers the other things are covered by the manufacture's.

There have been Very few if any true warranties with his campers....most were owners that wanted to visit him and then he would give things to them and update their campers......he has a heart of GOLD and that is evident by the way he treated all campers.....even lance he has fix a lot of those and also put couches in and command seating ....jim

Sadly, isn't Orphanage a standard part of truck camper brands? There's a really really long list of brands and manufacturers that came and went over the years. I think Lance, Sixpac, and a couple others are the only brands left to survive from the Golden Years.
