For all you "its hard to park and can't go to the carwash" people, my wife has done it for 4 yrs without any mishaps, She used to drive a Isuzu sub compact. BTW She gets through most fast food joints just fine.

Why do so many insist on buying gas motors to haul large trailers?

P.S. Nevermind, I can see from your sig your trailer is only 25 inches. That V10 should haul that fine.

I think it was more like I already have a 350 srw truck, I wasnt going out to buy one to pull it. But if there were alot of people who had done it and felt good about towing it than I was going to keep it instead og taking the hit and trading it in. But my dealer called and is d xing a 450 in for me with the same equipment that my truck has and in the colors that I wanted. And by the way the fast food drive thru places around here are way to tight to get a long bed truck thru much less a dually.

Most people already have the SRW truck when they start looking for the trailer. And, I've heard many say they need to use the vehicle as a daily driver and don't want a dually for that. There's nothing wrong with trying to maximize the use of an investment (expense) like a diesel truck. It's perfectly understandable that somoene would ask this very straight-forward question about how safe and feasible his existing SRW truck would be with a new big 5er TH. He nor anyone else is "insisting" as you say, on buying a new SRW truck.
