Does "resort" mean anything,is there suppose to be a difference between "resort" and "park"? The last place we stayed called itself a resort but didn't have WiFi or Cable or anything other than a couple cabins and a pool, but I have stayed at places that called themselves "park" and they had it all.

They can call themselves whatever the management wants to. What is important to me is what is offered. I would rather stay at a park that offers everything then a resort that offers nothing but attitude.

No. Makes no difference.
They are all the same, Resort, Park, Campground. Has nothing to do with charges, ammenities or anything. It's just what the owner wants to call it.

It probably makes a difference in the USA, but in a reverse fashion: A concrete, manicured resort is less likely to use the term "campground" or "park" while a gravel-and-grass park may be tempted to raise expectations by using "resort." It's unregulated in the US because that's the way that the electorate likes businesses in this coutry to be.
