...the following events should not have occured.

The wife and I left Thursday for a 4-day stay at Skidaway Island State Park near Savannah Ga.

Against the prevailing wisdom of this forum I tow with a 1/2 ton truck. I guess we shouldn't have been able to do that.

My tailer has Carlisle bias-ply tires on it, they probably should have blown, but they havent since 2005.

We ran the frigde on propane all the way there and on the return trip. It's a wonder we didn't blow sky-high!

We hauled the bikes on a bike rack inserted into a six-inch-long 2" reciever welded to the square-tube TT bumper. Funny thing about that, the bikes are still there!

We used toilet paper from the house. Frankly I don't know if our butts should have exploded or the if the black tank should have fell off. Thankfully neither happened and our butts have never been happier.

We had a nice smokey campfire to cook our dutch oven ribs on. I know campfires are taboo, but I took a chance, and we didn't get lynched. I also drank a couple of cases of beer.

We used the bath-house a few times, even though we have full facilities in our trailer. Hope that wasn't offending anyone.

Some kids rode by on thier bikes with noisy training wheels. It sure was nice to see kids yelling, riding and having fun in a healthy way.

We left our awning lights on past quiet hours one night.

We played a few games of washers, once again I'm glad we didn't get lynched for that one.

We did see a family of deer every day, buck (spike), doe, and fawn complete with spots.

I saw some people walking dogs (wish we still had ours), I don't know if they cleaned the poop up...nor do I care.

Alli-in-all we had a wonderful time. I know that we shouldn't have but we could't help it...after all we were camping.

I will not apologize for breaking all these "rules". How in the world did we ever have a good time?????

So what's the problem??
If you would have towed with a DODGE...now that would have been a problem.

Something's not right here. Are you sure you have all your facts correct?
I think you better go out and spend a few more days camping and report back here your results.
I would be willing to bet you still will have a great time.
