I could use some help identifying a problem. Just noticed today that there is some rippling/bowing in the panel that is located around the king pin that is under the bedroom overhang on our trailer. It rippling/bowing is in the forward corner on the passenger side and goes on for about 1 1/2 feet along the front where the panel meets the front cap. It is similar to the rippling I see on the side skirts of the trailer but is more pronounced. Is this possibly from water damage or just normal wear? Unfortunately, our local Forest River dealer and most of the RV dealers here have closed up shop. I have one good local repair shop but don't want to take it in until I checked here to see if anyone has had the same problem.

hard to say without seeing it, but it could be normal for your unit. mine (also a forest river) does have some sag in the cab over area sheeting underneath. they are not attached all that well, mostly just around the edges.

It might be normal, but IMO you need to make sure it isn't from water damage because, if it is, you need to find and fix the leak before you have more problems. If there is a professional you trust, have them take a look at it. Or, after the next big rain, drill a small hole in the worst part of the rippling and the press the rippling up with your hands to see if any water comes out. When done, fill the hole with some silicon. BTW, this would also be a good time to check the caulking on your forward running lights since that is a common area for a leak that would cause a problem like you describe.
