I have purchased the coleman powerpack stove for its size and affordability 43.00 instead of the 180.00 roadtrip lxe grill in the store i noticed the grill actually fits both the roadtrip and the power pack has any one tried bbqing on the power pack yet my biggest concern is on grease drippage i understand the road house comes with a greaste catch but not the powerhouse
any help with this would be great

The problem you will have with the stove is grease getting into the burners. They aren't protected.
The other issue is un-even heat distribution.
I would spend $20.00 and get a table-top propane grill at Wal Mart since money seems to be the issue. There are plenty of grills available for much less than the Roadtrip that are designed for grilling, unlike the stove you have.

thank you for the quic response
i was concerned about that as well but the grill that you get for the road trip is solid above the burners as far as the burner set up the two are identical but i do not know how the r t is set up for grease catching

I have one of the original Roadtrip grills - it uses l large water pan that fits around the burners & fills the entire cavity under the burners- it works great, we use on every camping trip.

thanks jb i guess that would be the difference the powerpack has a lot of space between the burners but only about a 1/2 space on the outer edge of the burners i was thinking of putting one of those disposable tin pans between the burners for a grease pan
