Excellent Sher & Zachery, excellent news thus far! I'm still thinking fatty tumor, especially from your update. I'm glad to hear he is doing so well, we'll anxiously await the biopsy results. Please keep us updated.
Until then, good thoughts & prayers coming from Oklahoma.

Not yet Cat...I was told on fri. that it would probably be mid week or later, depends how busy the lab is, it's a little frustrating waiting but I'm not really all that worried, a little, but being totally encapsulated I just have a gut feeling that all will be ok...knock on wood and lots of prayers.

Well the vet office called....this is what I got out of it.
Fibrodysplacia, benign, some poliferation of margins, treated
conervatively, we'll keep an eye on the surgical area and I guess
do a sort of self exam on him on a regular basis.
There was another word I had no clue what it was, adnexae, and when I googled it
most of the references were in german.
I have asked them to send me a copy of the report, my vet was in surgery but i will meet with her if I have any question.
What do you all think? I'm thinking that if I have to search him for more growths than this may come back, otherwise why would I have to do this.

Sounds like a pretty good report Sher!
Fatty i.e. fibro tumors may or may not "come back" once they present themselves to the best of my knowledge and it sounds like that is what Zachery had if I can loosely interpret the word "Fibrodysplacia" correctly... that is what it sounds like to me. I bet Dr. Doug will weigh in when he gets a chance. I'm hopeful that I am right in my guess.... I had a dog that had three "fatty, re: fibro" tumors that lived a long (16+ years) and happy life. Samson had these tumors show up (& consequently successfully removed) in different places so keeping a watchful eye on Zachery is a good idea. I hope you will rest easier with the diagnosis.
Hugs from Oklahoma!
