Wife and I are going to the Copper Canyon (Creel) and then to Batopilas, for a few days. Then to Guadalajara for week or so. Then we are headed to Melaque and the west coast. Will be leaving from Texas the first part of Jan '08. Looking to hook up with someone with similar travel plans. We are flexible as to dates. We have traveled Mexico, and are seasoned travelers. If you have an interest, contact me off the board, and we'll discuss it.

We have made the same trip and it is great! You do know it can SNOWS in Creel in Jan. We went in May and it was mid 70's in Creel & low 90's in Batopilas. Make sure you make it to the Lost Mission about 10 miles past Batopilas. They were working on the roof when we were there. They invited me to climb the bell tower on to the roof. It was a kick and what a view. Also look up the German Artist that lives in Batopilas, very good work. Bought two of his prints. He also has great oils. Take the train to one of the Hotels on the rim, well worth the money and service was incredible. The campground is very nice and secure. We did not worry about leaving our RV once. One of our favorite trips. PM me if you have any questions.

Wish we could go this Winter. I love snow. It was one of our best trips ever. We will return this next year!
