The radio works fine when just running off the trailer batterys, it is not until I run the generator or plug in to the house power (110) that I have the issue.

Its got to be converter related. Nothing else has both 110v ( shore or gen ) AND 12vdc. Unplug the converter while then plug into shore or run the gen. If its gone, work from there.
